It might sound intense, but I'll guide you through the temperature changes at your own pace to help you clear your mind.
In Contrast Therapy We look at our bodies reaction to temperature be that hot, cold or temperate. My knowledge has been learnt from studying in conjunction with a scientist (LEO, You mention them in a video, strengthen it up, who are they what university are they associated with? Will they talk here?) who has both led their own studies and brought together peer reviewed studies of others.
So what am I looking to do to you? The idea of working with me, be it one off or ongoing, is to give you an understanding of the effects of heat and cold on your body along with some safe guidelines on how to use it beneficially including initial exposure as well as ongoing participation.

As with The Wim Hof Method we would recommend you try turning your shower to cold for the final 10 seconds of your shower and then try to extend that period to 30-90 seconds, this will not only start to habituate you to the cold it will also give you an idea of how well you tolerate it.
We will have a cold water bath next to the sauna for contrast therapy, it is at present ambient but will be chilled shortly.

Part of the idea behind this contrast, or just hot or just cold, training is to better enable you to calm yourself down, relax and clear your mind and to this end we will lead you through some breathing techniques to help calm you on a day to day basis as well as in the cold or heat.

We have a sauna on site, the sauna is wood fired and generally 80-100 degrees but we may start you cooler. This is a Finnish style sauna, behind which there is a huge amount of studies showing is positive health benefits.

There's always time for relaxing, asking questions and sharing experiences. you will also be welcome to join a WhatsApp group to keep in touch, ask questions and share experiences.

Yes any change is fraught with apprehension but let's talk, perhaps have a free trial session, there's no hard sell, take it at your own pace, no strings attached.
